Drammen Clarinet Choir is a newly established ensemble consisting of 20–30 skilled amateur clarinetists together with a select group of music educators. The choir is led by clarinetist, composer, and conductor Roger Arve Vigulf, who serves as both instructor and artistic director. The ensemble aims to showcase the wide expressive range of the clarinet, offering its members opportunities for artistic growth while enriching the cultural life of Drammen with high-quality performances.In addition to his extensive career as a professional clarinetist and composer, Roger Arve Vigulf brings valuable experience as a conductor. Between 1987 and 2011, he regularly taught and conducted at various music summer schools, working with young musicians and ensembles across Norway. This background provides him with strong pedagogical insight and a well-rounded foundation for leading the Drammen Clarinet Choir.With its blend of musical enthusiasm, educational experience, and professional leadership, the Drammen Clarinet Choir seeks to establish itself as an important new contributor to Norway’s clarinet and wind music scene.
